The fan then cycles on for 2 minutes at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the the cooling system turns back on.     9 Fresh Air V ent Control The Fresh Air V ent allows the air conditioner to: 1. Recirculate inside air - V ent Closed (see Fig. 1) 2. Draw fresh air into the room - V ent Open (see Fig. 2) 3. Air Filter Cleaning The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if cleaning is necessary . T rapped particles in the filter can build up and cause an accumulation of frost on the cooling coils. • Tilt the panel out by grasping the panel from both sides, just below the controls and the air directional louvers, and gently pull to release.
